The most annoying thing when you’ve spent ages making an animation in Jasc Animation Shop is to save it and find that the optimisation applied means you can’t read the writing, see the image properly, or have all the colours you used displayed. Here are some ways to avoid that happening.
Try and use solid colours rather than pasting/using an image that’s a bit blurry.
Go back and add a few more colours to the frame, for example floodfill a tiny bit a slightly different colour in each frame.
When the optimisation wizard comes up, edit the settings until your animation is clear.
Paste each frame into Paint Shop Pro or another graphics program and then paste them back into Animation Shop.
Use the pencil or brush tool to colour in one pixel a different colour.
