Well, my Dad and Lara were talking about getting a dog for a while, and last night we finally got one! Isn’t he cute? :love:
I’m not really a dog person; in fact, I’m a feline person and I love Fuzz more than anything, but this puppy is pretty cute lol. It’s not really a dog, more a fox :P He’s much faster at Fuzz with some things; although we only got him last night, he’s already learnt to fetch. Unfortunately, once he’s got the ball or toy, he won’t give it back to you and tries to hide it haha. He’s pretty slow with the whole not-pissing-on-the-floor thing though; Fuzz picked that up literally within hours.
Talking of Fuzz, she is really not happy about him, although today she’s not as bad as she was last night. I have the bites and scratches all over my wrists and arms to prove it – I look like I’ve been self-harming or something :grr: They really hurt last night when they were bleeding, but they aren’t so bad now. :sick: She knew she’d done wrong afterwards and avoided me for a while because she thought she was in disgrace. But she slept on my bed for a while and she knows I’m not mad at her any more, so it’s all good. It’s going to take a lot of getting used to for her, because she was half scared and half angry, and the puppy was just scared. Plus it’s her territory and she’s used to being pampered and having our complete attention :neutral:
The puppy is a pedigree Pomeranian by the way, and his ancestors have been show-dogs, so maybe we’ll start showing him or something. If we can train him properly lol.
You might be wondering why I haven’t called him by a name; his show-name is Alfie, his previous owner called him Foxy and Lara wants to call him Pom, but I think we should call him something else. So if you have any ideas for cute, male dog names, please post a comment :D

I’m not sure what you should name him. I’ve always liked the name “Pom” for a Pomeranian. If he was a girl, I would suggest the name “Momo”. It just kind of fits a fluffy little butterball. Maybe you’ll come up with something absolutely perfect after awhile.
