Is it really England?

As I mentioned in the last entry, at the weekend I went down to the south coast of England for Joe’s brother’s wedding. My boyfriend grew up in the very, very south of England, down in East Sussex and the weather was beautiful this weekend so I had the chance to take loads of pictures, including this one:

Sea view

I can’t believe it’s really England, it looks like a random island somewhere lovely and serene! So this disproves the fact that it’s always grey and raining in England, it was beautiful being down there and walking around. The full size version of this picture has been uploaded to the photo gallery along with around 50 others (generally in the Seascapes and Cliffs categories). I’ve included a selection of some other pictures I took below – the church and the beach.

The church

The beach

It was a shame to have to come back to the city/suburbs really! Tonight I’m off to see a live performance of Rocky Horror with one of my friends from home, so that’s another thing to tick off my 101 things in 1001 days list!

You have some nice pictures there. I really like the one of the church. I have a thing for big old structures. There’s just something about them that I love.

Wow, those photos look amazing! Especially the first picture, *hearts* I absolutely love it. It looks like England alright, even though I’ve never been there myself. But I’ve seen pictures taken by my friends and families so I’ve got some idea how the place looks like. ;)

Ooh, I tried making a 101 in 1001, but I never finished the list! There were too many things to do that I knew I could NOT do because of parental restrictions, etc. But at least you can tick something off.

I’ve heard that the weather in the UK is warmer than usual! I’d love to visit there one day. :D

Oops, I just noticed the clutteredness of my grammar in my last comment.

    What I mean is:
Wow, it really looks like the Old English times! Especially the structure in the second picture. Is that a church? Hehe.

It’s actually nice to see a part of England which still reminds us of the old times. :)

A place like this can be a good place to relax and go far away from the city life for a relaxing vacation. :D

I’ve only been to London which is like the city part of England but I’ve always imagined the country side looking a bit like that :P The country side in the UK is supposed to be really pretty. It does look really serene, though. Kind of like the Caribbean.
