Basically, I’m a middle-aged man with horses who is thinking about joining the armed services. Or, you know, not.

Lol, that genuinely made me laugh. I hate those stupid Facebook and Amazon suggestions… They are always wrong!!
18/02/2012 at 3:05 pmThank you, I’m really happy you like my network; take time to check all the sites part of it, if you please. :)
22/02/2012 at 6:48 pmIt’s amazing how wrong those suggestions can be lol. No matter what I do, Facebook thinks I’m a gay hormonal teen boy looking for love…Sad deal
22/02/2012 at 8:35 pmThose ads always make me laugh. I get some of the oddest ones ever.
23/02/2012 at 3:39 amHow very stupid!!!! heehee!!!
23/02/2012 at 8:54 amLol! There is probably just not enough data for some of it. I suspect that Google is the most accurate (It says that I’m a age 25-34 male) but who knows what puts you in a certain demographic?
23/02/2012 at 4:44 pmHaha, that’s such a great comparison on those three companies/social places/whatevers.
…and to make the last line rhyme, you could have switched services with forces, thus causing it to rhyme with horses. :P haha.
23/02/2012 at 11:38 pmOkay, this one is hands down funny! :) I wonder how they pulled off data and gave you that result. Internet can be entertaining but we humans are smarter! Lol.
24/02/2012 at 2:24 amWhere in England do you live? I went there last year for a few weeks in the Spring and loved it! I thought about going to Paris when I was there but then i went on a crazy shopping spree and well it just never panned out lol
24/02/2012 at 3:59 amI live in Nottingham :)
24/02/2012 at 3:52 pmThat made me crack a smile, you know, your last paragraph. It’s amazing how these websites get these random information and where they get it from. I don’t bother correcting them sometimes, but sometimes I do feel annoyed.
25/02/2012 at 3:08 pmhaha, Google’s guess of your age and gender is funny :) Surprisingly, it was spot on for mine. Sometimes friends send me product links that they want to buy or think is funny, and next thing I know, my recommendations are based on it. Kind of annoying sometimes!
26/02/2012 at 7:57 pmThe internet these days can be funky in deciding… Or even guessing who you are/what you like o__o. I don’t understand how a 16×10 wooden stable would interest you with those things you bought XD! Even Facebook/Google thinking you’re a middle aged man interested in the force.. o__o. That’s just weird. XD I never really paid attention to facebook ads so I suppose :c.
Take care :)
27/02/2012 at 12:54 amHilarious! XD
27/02/2012 at 5:28 amGoogle actually does pretty well for me, although I have seen that it seems to be off for a lot of people. Last I checked, it had the right age range and gender for me, and the interests it listed were mostly true. (I think it was fitness, arts & entertainment… I don’t remember the others.)
27/02/2012 at 5:52 pmHah, the internet is weird. ;P
27/02/2012 at 10:45 pmThat’s hilarious. What Google thought of you, a middle-aged man, I would find that a compliment only because it means you’re different from the mid-20’s women out there :)
On the other hand, Google is pretty much spot on with me. A 24-year-old female. Yup. T:P
28/02/2012 at 6:18 pmGoogle thinks I’m a male in my late twenties/early thirties on my work computer. It’s so funny how wrong they can be. Unfortunately I share an eBay account with my boyfriend so I get a few electronic things and he gets annoyed that he’s now seeing suggestions for jewellery. XD
I had web design/dev and domain hosting/reg on mine too. On my home computer Google actually gets it right – I’m a female in her 20s!
04/03/2012 at 5:43 amGoogle has my age demographic correct, guessing I’m 18-24, but they also think I’m male. I don’t think it affects the relevance of the ads they show me, though, because the interests they have for me based on my recent search terms seem pretty relevant. :)
I can’t imagine why on Earth eBay would suggest a HORSE STABLE to you.
04/03/2012 at 5:43 amThank you for the comment!
Ugh, the Internet! I absolutely dislike Facebook now – so much advertising and shizz on there it’s putting me off! And I hate how everything links with everything else. Link your Twitter, MySpace, GoodReads, Spotify – eugh. Keep it simple please!
Okay, kind of ranting. It’s funny though how those sites like to offer suggestions ;) they’re pretty humorous a lot of the time! :D
04/03/2012 at 10:09 pmIt’s funny what the internet thinks sometimes. How did you find out what demographics Google thinks you are? I want to know what Google thinks of me lol.
05/03/2012 at 5:16 pmI must be predictable because all those sites have me pretty spot on. Except google thinks I am younger than I am. I must be immature :(. lol
07/03/2012 at 7:13 amWoah. That makes me wonder what on earth you search for majority of the time, if that’s what they think you’re interested in…
11/03/2012 at 3:35 amOMG that is funny! Sometimes (okay, a lot of the time) the internet is stupid :P
14/03/2012 at 5:37 pmI think the wooden stable is particularly relevant to your previous buys.
