Day eight of the photo challenge and I’m still going strong! I’m impressing myself :p
Today’s photo is inside my wallet, aka my purse. I love my purse, it’s the biggest one I’ve ever used and it’s lasted me years so far.
Mostly it’s full of loyalty cards for supermarkets and beauty shops I like, plus Nando’s, my cinema cards, gym card, debit card, driving licence and National Insurance number. At the front on the left you can see my organ donor card. I hate the fact that it’s an opt-in system, but that’s another blog post. On the right you can see a little business card I got years ago from a cafe in Prague – I keep it there because it has a cute leaf design.
I hardly ever carry cash because it always seems to disappear so quickly. I do usually try to have some change for the bus though.

I always have bus money with me too. I use bus tickets, but I like to have some change in case I can’t find my tickets or I run out before I think I am going to.
08/04/2012 at 5:33 pmLike you, I have a big purse full of cards…! I have too many, but I don’t want to take them out because I don’t want to find myself in a shop wanting to buy something and not having my loyalty card with me, lol. I try to have some change in my purse as well, although I do admit that it does disappear too quickly. And paying with a credit/debit card is just so much easier! Unfortunately, here in France not all shops accept those cards and we still pay things by check! I mean… that’s just so very old-fashioned! As a Dutch person I really had to get used to this, and it still annoys me now when shops don’t accept debit cards, but oh well… It’s not gonna change overnight.

09/04/2012 at 5:43 pmHaha, I don’t carry much cash on me either. My wallet’s always filled with cards that I have to limit myself to have many cards can be in there before it breaks my wallet for being so fat. Haha.

fuck you. not everyone wants to be on the organ donor list and it’s not always because they’re selfish or whatever. believe it or not, people do have their own reasons for wishing to not donate organs after their deaths.
it’s great that you think it’s such a good cause but don’t shove your opinions on to others.
28/01/2013 at 9:51 pmYeah, I hate the fact it’s an opt-in system. Not because I believe people should be forced into it like you apparently think I do, but because people who care enough about not donating will make the effort to opt out. Whereas a lot of people who aren’t against it won’t make the effort to opt in.
