I made some cookies last night, and one of the ingredients was:

Not easy to identify from the photo alone – they’re honeycomb pieces. I made white chocolate chip and honeycomb chocolate cookies and they’re tasty (even if I do say so myself!)

I’ve cheated slightly since the sugar I used has much tinier granules, but I love the buttermilk colour of the honeycomb pieces, so I chose them for this photo challenge instead.

I love baking, and the recipe is one I’ve adapted from a recipe book my friend Hannah bought me. I took plenty more pictures of the baking process, so I’ll be adding them to Blossom.nu over the weekend along with the recipe.
