I skipped my first ever lecture yesterday, because after the Christmas Bar Crawl, I was just too tired. I made it to the first two lectures with Sarah, but we couldn’t be bothered to trek all the way across campus, get yelled at for being late (the previous lecture always runs over and then it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the next lecture), and then sit through 50 minutes of stuff we did 2 years ago. Plus the lecture slides are put up on the Internet. Unfortunately, that theory didn’t work because for some reason they aren’t up there :grr: So I’ll have to ask Nikki or Harriet what I missed (and hopefully one of them will be in today and didn’t skip that lecture lol).

I’ll gloss over the Christmas Bar Crawl quickly, just to say that there were good parts and bad parts. I’m glad I went though. Tonight’s my birthday bar crawl, then tomorrow I’m going home for the night to see my family on my birthday! Yay!

You must have missed my entry about this layout when I put it up. I said that I (or my friend Laura, I can’t remember) took the photograph when we went to New York last year. And it has added importance because this layout marks the fact that I went to New York this time last year on a college trip and had a great time. You don’t think I’d use someone else’s photography without crediting them for it do you? :)

I’ve started writing my essay on Virginia Woolf, and so far it’s going really well. Surprisingly well. Unfortunately, I’ve just found out that I have to quote page numbers of critics’ books. Which means I have to get the fifty million books out of the library again and look up the page number of every single quote I’ve written down. Which will be almost impossible as every other student doing Woolf will want the books out too. Grrr.

Last night Nathan took me out for a birthday meal, which was really nice. He bought me Season 3 of ‘Family Guy’ on DVD as well :love: I’m going to miss him and everyone else so much over Christmas.
