For this invisibility tutorial you’ll need a photo image and a background of some sort.

Step 1

Crop out your photo image (if it isn’t already), or cut round it like in my ‘Glowing Images’ tutorial.

Step 2

Right click your photo image and click ‘Copy’, then click your background and ‘Paste as new selection’. Your image should look like this:

Now click , and if your ‘Tool Options’ box isnt up, right click and select ‘Tool Options’, and adopt these settings:

Now use the eraser to completely remove your photo from the background. However, you should still have the floating dotted line on your background like this:

Step 5

Still using , right click in places over your image so your photo mainly reappears, but with some patches of background showing through. Press ‘Ctrl’ and ‘D’ to deselect your image. Save and you’re done!
