As usual, life has overtaken me, and I have nowhere near as much time as I would like :( So yeah, I’m a bit behind with blogging, but then there’s not that much to say.
Had a Chinese takeaway tonight courtesy of Nika, and I’m still feeling uncomfortably full. Today I worked on Blossom, watched trashy TV, watched nearly all of ‘How to lose a guy in 10 days’ and all of ‘Mean Girls’, showered, played Nintendo and cleaned the house. So fun and excitement all round :P Life is so exciting I can hardly bear it. Oh yeah, and work phoned; I’m working 9-5:30 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week. I don’t think I’ve ever worked official set hours for that long before, and 5 hours of work killed me last time so fingers crossed. Just think of the money and get on with it, I think. On another disturbing note, it sounds like what I’m going to be helping out with is way beyond me. For some reason at least one person there thinks I’m doing programming. Which is a kind of piss-your-pants-laughing-you’re-so-scared kind of funny. I can blag and I’m a quick learner, but by no remote stretch of the imagination am I ‘doing programming’. So we’ll see how it goes.
Not much else to report. Although I find it amusing that people using the search bar retype their exact same keyword(s) – EXCEPT IN CAPITALS. That’s right people. I’m purposely hiding all my subpages from you by writing them all in capitals so they don’t show up in the search :) No, seriously. The blinkie maker is still where it’s always been. In the ‘You’ section. What I find even more ironic is that people type ‘Dollmakers’ into the search. They actually had to scroll past the ‘Dollmakers’ link to get to the search bar *shakes head* Which is making me think that moving the blinkie maker into the main menu wouldn’t help that much.
Anyway, I’m exhausted so I will be returning all unreturned comments from the last entry tomorrow. By the way, if you don’t get a comment from me, it’s because your site returned a 404 or ‘Cannot Find Server’ error :( Today’s updates are listed on the ‘Updates’ page *shock horror*, and I’ll see you tomorrow *nods*

Yeah just think about the money you get at the end :smile:, it helps a lot. Your work hours are 15 minutes more than mine, but 45 minutes more than my Fridays :razz:. Sorry that comment isn’t helping anything. I’m sure you’ll cope well with the new hours.
Computer programming? :eek: That is a scarey thought. I took it in college and I can say that I wasn’t born to be a computer programmer haha.
Haha about the search feature. Just a little something to laugh about. I had a dumb moment [on Wednesday] when I couldn’t find the search *slap on the head* . Then tada I just needed to look closer. I can be really stupid sometimes. I haven’t used yet but one day, maybe.
Aww the Nottingham pictures are lovely. Those are great pictures of the lake, love the reflection of the sky.

05/08/2006 at 9:23 amOooh I love your site now, it looks more grown up and alot more fresh :) The summer is definately made for watching trash Tv, bad films and generally nothing productive whatsoever, I love being a student! So what exactly is your work? I love the job I do during the holidays so its not too much of a chore, but being on your feet all day is a killer, you are right, think of the money and get to know your co-workers, they can be a huge help getting through a long day!

Edit by Jenni: Yes, that would be because they are the default smilies of WordPress and many other blogging programs out there. There are generic, freeware smilies of which I’m pretty sure the original creator is unknown :)
