I’ve uploaded 585 photos, and actually ended up installing a new gallery from scratch. 4images just wasn’t doing what I wanted it to do, so I installed the ingeniously named ‘Gallery’. I haven’t renamed all the images yet, but you can view the new gallery here. I still have more pictures to upload, including some snowy ones and countryside ones from my phone (my camera phone is 5mp like my camera, so I think it’s time I saved up for a new camera!). I do love my Kodak though, it’s only a simple digital camera that’s at least 4-5 years old, but it’s travelled almost as much as I have and it’s never let me down.

Today was spent having a massive clearout and tidy up, and now everything’s tidy, clean and organised, from the bathroom to my wardrobe. I spent most of yesterday lazing (didn’t get out of bed until 5pm!!!), and so I felt I should get a lot done today to make up for it. Though to be fair, I spent several hours working on the photo gallery from my bed :P

As regards to Dreamhost…well, for some reason I just wasn’t (and I’m still not) getting their emails. I logged into the web panel and saw their response to my site problems – I had an old plugboard script I’d completely forgotten about that had been hacked into, so I deleted that, my old banner rotation script and some dodgy looking files, so hopefully it will all be okay now. Crazy stuff, but a lot worse could have happened. I feel bad for saying they didn’t reply, but it’s so strange the way I’m not getting their emails.

Friday we went to the pub for A’s leaving do. I swear, where I live has nothing except pubs…there are 4 within walking distance and I live just off a dual carriageway in pretty much the middle of nowhere. I think quite a few people were dubious about going, but it was actually really good. I brought along the quote book for A to catch up on – back when I started, I used to write amusing things people said on post its (don’t ask), and then it suddenly evolved into a book that more and more people are writing in. It does sound pretty sad writing that here, but it’s actually hilarious, you just have to read it to understand.

Tonight I watched The Holiday again – even though it’s kind of a depressing film in a way, Kate Winslet is so great in it. And I love films with happy endings. It did make me think of the casting in The Other Boleyn Girl though. I think one of the problems with that film is that Natalie Portman and Scarlet Johansson just aren’t plausible sisters. I could see Kate Winslet and Scarlet Johansson together, or perhaps Natalie Portman and Reese Witherspoon (like how Reese was in Vanity Fair), but Natalie and Scarlet together in those roles…not so much.

I’m on a bit of a movie binge at the moment, I love Rocky Horror and I realised that even though I’ve had the film for years, I’ve never watched the extras. So I had a quick browse and found out that the house they used for parts has been renovated and is now a hotel. I’d love to buy it and Rocky Horror-fy it because it would be amazing!! If only! I’d also love to see the show at the West End, I’m determined to before I die :P

Anyway, I need to brush my hair and dry it properly, but look out for some more pictures in the gallery tomorrow :wink:
