Earlier in the week I decided I wanted to take some photos. I haven’t taken any photos in ages, and I still have probably at least 3,000 to upload to the severely neglected Single Shot.

Anyway, armed with my trusty old Lumix TZ7, I picked up some (half price) Mother’s Day flowers from the supermarket and got to work. No expense spared for this shoot!

I have no idea about whether I’m good at photography or not, what makes a ‘good’ photo, or the technical aspects of creating photos. But I hope to get into that more; I’ve just ordered my first DSLR, a Nikon D3100. Excited is not the word :) I’m quite sad to be relegating my TZ7 to ‘not my main camera’ status because I’ve taken it all over the UK and across Europe, and it’s done me proud for a little point and shoot. (Apart from in low light conditions. We never talk about the low light conditions).

I took quite a few photos but here are my favourites; you can view more on Flickr. I resisted the temptation to edit these photos at all, so here they are exactly as they were taken, brought to you via Panasonic, Sandisk, iPhoto and Flickr. And a very tired Jenni because I took these straight after waking up. Yawn.
