Well, it’s just past midnight so I guess I technically failed on the ‘blogging every day’ thing right away :P Oh well, looks like there will be 2 entries ‘today’ ;)

I’m such an idiot, I forgot that WordPress is set so that if you’ve never commented before, then the comment goes into moderation and I have to approve it before it shows up. I was wondering why I only had 10 comments lol. So, I’ve accepted them all now and I will be going to return them as soon as I’ve finished typing this entry.

Andy found a web site today that rates your site on various things and gives a score out of ten (if I remember to get the link from him I’ll post it). Anyway, Star-Girl.org was (is?) apparently rated the 330,772nd (I think!) most popular web site on the Internet, which is quite weird/scary/impressive/annoying that I moved domains :P Also, Blossom.nu reached 1,000 visitors today!! It’s kind of strange the way the splash counter and the WP counter are over 100 visitors different though… And of course I just noticed that my comment plugger isn’t working, so guess what I’ll be doing tomorrow :roll: It isn’t returning any errors either, so I’m guessing that unless I messed something really basic up, it’s going to be pretty tough to fix.

One of the most interesting new features of http://sitemeter.com – the counter I have on the splash page – is the ‘World Map’ thing, where you can see where your last 100 visitors came from for free. I was quite surprised there were no Aussies visiting until I remembered about the hugeee time difference (I’m having a lot of stupid moments recently). I meant to do a lot more work on the site today than I did. I uploaded a few new pics to ‘Stock Photos’, but I still have around another hundred to add I think. Also, I created a ‘Using the Search’ page, as I noticed the navigation to it is really annoying and it’s not at all obvious that ‘Previous entries’ at the bottom of your search actually brings up more search results :evil:

So today Kieran and Richard came round, we played a lot of Gamecube (Smash Bros and Mario Party), I messed around on the Internet, ‘kind of’ made up with my dad and chatted to my mum on the phone. I really miss being with my family, but I have work here and the house, some of my friends etc. :( The annoying thing is that wherever I am, I’m always missing someone somewhere.

I was aiming to go to bed relatively early tonight, especially as I have a driving lesson tomorrow, but that’s not gonna be happening lol. Oh well :P
