I’ve finally joined Myspace. Add me as a friend please! I don’t have any neon colours or annoying music, so there’s no reason not to :)
I’m not sure why, but I’m not really feeling the urge to blog at the moment. I guess it’s something to do with feeling unsettled. I came home last week, and I’m sleeping in the study as we have relatives staying (they got a visa from Iran and are waiting 2 years to get a green card so they can go to America, where their close family live). As a result, I’m sleeping in a room with a big bookcase, a small bookcase, tons of spare bedding, a small single bed, and just stuff piled up everywhere. Oh, and a massive desk (why did I ever decide on that?!). As a result, I can walk maybe 6 teeny steps forward before I bump in to something, and I’m beginning to feel slightly claustrophobic. Plus, my annoying cousin’s son (what relation is he to me??) is a screaming two year old brat. Who is occasionally cute, but more annoying than anything else. Especially when he starts talking to me (he can’t speak English, and I can’t tell him to shut up).
So I’ve gone from living with Nika and Andy (and on occasion various friends who stay over), to living with my mum, dad, my cousin, his wife, their son, my sister, a crazy Pomeranian and a sulky cat. Surprisingly, it’s not as bad as I thought, and our house just seems to expand. Even though there are 2 families living in it, we all have our own room (except my cousin, his wife and son who share my room – but my room’s pretty big), and I can escape to the study or to take Pom out or whatever. Easter was horrific though, as we had me, my sister, my dad, my mum, Pom, Fuzz, my cousin, his wife, their son, my uncle, my aunt and my really nice cousin to stay. GAH.
Anyway, I’d prefer not to think about that. On Saturday, I met up with some of my friends from high school who I’ve not seen at all, or not seen properly for three years. A couple of people didn’t turn up, and it required more organising than I thought, but it was really nice to catch up with the girls, get the latest gossip about people and have a good bitch :P We went to Nando’s and then the Megabowl bar nearby – even though we were actually too busy chatting to order drinks! And I think we outstayed our welcome in Nando’s too lol. Oh well. It was definitely worth it! And not as awkward as I thought it might be, either.
I still have loads of books to read for uni – but I know that I must get them finished because we’ll get yet more reading lists when we register (I hate the way they do that!). I still have to find some (I think I will have to buy them on Amazon with my dad’s credit card as one of them is massive, incredibly boring and costs £40 in Borders).
And considering I wasn’t in the mood for blogging, I seem to have typed rather a lot, heh.

Wow, Jenni! The first thing that caught my eye was the “no neon colours or annoying music”, so will definatly check it out! Best of luck with this new site, will miss KK and SG although nothing can ever replace KuteKitten…I’ve known that site since the strawberry layout lol --! Err…I think they were strawberries!! Anyway, it really makes me smile to see how much you and your amazing web creations have grown – from a Kutekitten 16 year old to a -gasp- 19 year old Blossom.nu!
Good luck for Uni! And enjoy, trust me, highschool’s worse.
06/09/2006 at 5:44 pmArgh it sounds busy in your household at the moment. I wouldn’t be able to cope with all those people too close to me, I’d end up hurting someone. Its bad enough that I’m living with my parents and brother! Lol! Ah well. Do you find that your family is more irritating now that you have moved out of home? I definately do! It can be alot of fun meeting up with people from school, especially if its not awkward. Bitching sessions are always alot of fun, its nice to know who is with who, who got pregnant at 17, who got fat etc, I love things like that! Good luck with the massive reading list, I can’t believe we don’t get ours until we get there!
06/09/2006 at 5:48 pmYour MySpace is pretty :) I’m glad you don’t have background music or flashy pictures/text, they are annoying.
Ah relatives LOL just kidding but I would hide away. I think having your own space is important and being cramped in a study isn’t good for anyone.
Seems a little strange when you have time to yourself and friends, considering your life is hectic hah, it’s good though that you got to see old friends :)

Wow, sorry to hear that you have to sleep in the study! Hehe about your cousin! And wow, you all have your own room still?! Hehe, I wished I had a house like that! Hehe.
Anyways, hehe about meeting up with people you haven’t seen in 3 years! I have some people I haven’t seen in about that long since I graduated high school also, but we haven’t made any plans to meet up yet…
06/09/2006 at 8:18 pmI’ll send you a friend request. I know you don’t know me but I’ve been a fan of your site since it was KuteKitten, and so I think I may start commenting regularly, because now that you’re blogging more I find I have more to say I guess.
07/09/2006 at 3:17 amI would add you to MySpace if I actually used it but I never use it (though I have an account) so it’d be pretty pointless…
07/09/2006 at 5:42 pmI’d go nuts in a household like that, really I’d need space and silence. But it’s good you can manage… :)
Heh, your myspace is lovely ^^ I’ve been meaning to redesign mine but I usually can’t be arsed with it… having a regular website is so much more time-consuming, I’ve found. Go figure XD
Sounds like interesting living accomodations there, too… best of luck with that, lol.
08/09/2006 at 3:34 amI think he is a second cousin, although I’m not sure, not being familiar with the english names.
Your myspace is cute :) At least you’re lucky that you don’t have to share a bedroom with your sister, I’m forced to do that everytime my gran comes to stay ;)
08/09/2006 at 7:11 pmAwww  I hate having to give my room to relatives, especially when I have to sleep on the floor lol
08/09/2006 at 9:46 pmhave fun reading!
Woah! That is a lot of people staying in your house. I reckon ours is crowded with just us 5!
£40 for a book? That is a bit ridiculous. Hope you get through all the books you have to read.
09/09/2006 at 1:11 pmFinally gota MySpace, eh?
Giving up my room is something I hate, I love my room when It’s me in it. Thats a lot of people in your house!
3 years? Woah.
09/09/2006 at 4:34 pmYour MySpace is stunning, it sort of reminds me of Sleeping Beauty…not sure why, lol! I think your cousin’s son is your second cousin, but I might be wrong.
10/09/2006 at 7:45 amI added you on Myspace, I recently jumped on that bandwagon too…I never had any interest before but it is rather addicting lol
11/09/2006 at 4:23 pmWow I really can’t stand MySpace.
I know what it’s like to have to live in someone else’s home while you’re waiting for immigration papers! Good luck to your relatives with that, it’s a very difficult thing to go through, not to mention long-winded. It’s a pity though that you’re shoved into the study! I know what you mean about annoying little relatives that you don’t really know how you’re related to…
How big is your house!? I can’t imagine living with that many people, especially for that long!
13/09/2006 at 12:16 amHey, I think I visited your site once when you were at kutekitten. Anyway, that’s a lotta people at your house. I think just the bathroom situation would annoy me, so you’re taking it much better than I would.
I’m an English major, too. All that reading can be overwhelming.
